ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Anne Arundel County celebrates Quiet Waters Park's 30-year anniversary.
A commemorative poster by a local artist was revealed at the celebration, which highlights the features of the Annapolis Park. The posters were created by local artist Joe Barsin.
He also created the design for the Maryland “Treasure the Chesapeake” license plate, art for the Anne Arundel Medical Center's Fish for a Cure, The Annapolis Film Festival, The Downtown Annapolis Partnership and more. Quiet Waters Park opened back in 1990 and the park attracts more than a million visitors a year.
I think there is something for every single community member here in the park. If they can't find something here, they're going to be hard pressed to go anywhere int he county and find something they love and enjoy.
Commemorative posters are for sale in two sizes with prices at $15 and $5.
