An annual May tradition in Annapolis is the week of festivities that commemorates the U.S. Naval Academy’s midshipmen Graduation and Commissioning ceremonies. The hallmark of the week is the Blue Angels air show and dramatic fly over during the graduation ceremonies. During this week, the Blue Angels are based out of Southern Maryland’s Naval Air Station on the Patuxent River. Visit PAX’s Naval Air Museum to see the new FA-18B edition to their collection of historic naval aviation.
